A lot was accomplished at Saturday’s crop mob. The leeks were planted, a tedious job planting all the small seedlings. Cabbage seedlings were also planted. Several other crops were seeded directly in the soil, some by hand and others with the Planet Junior seeder. Four of the beds for tomatoes were prepared; tilling, making trenches, and laying drip lines and plastic mulch. There are several more still to be done.
Lunch was wonderful with the dishes everyone provided.
Remember, everyone is asked to participate in at least two crop mobs during the season. The next crop mob is scheduled for Sunday June 25th.
